Hi I'm Heather, a pianist, vocalist, and songwriter living among the forests and shores of the Blue Mountains in Ontario.

My hope is that when you listen, you feel a little more connected, a little more open, perhaps a little more at home in yourself. My songs are born from the quiet magic of nature, from love and loss, healing and transformation, and from those mysterious moments when something we can't quite name moves through us. I write at my piano, overlooking the trees, listening for what wants to be expressed and then I follow it.

 

Over the years, my music has taken me from the intimate stages of New York City and Toronto to the quiet piano room where I now create. I've performed at The Cutting Room, The Makor Room, The Bitter End, and CBGBs in New York, and The Gladstone Hotel, C'est What, The Drake, The Horseshoe Tavern, and Hugh's Room in Toronto. Wherever I perform, my favourite part has always been the same: the moment when a song creates a connection and deep stirring between us.

My albums are chapters in an ongoing journey. Listen (2005), Leuty Station (2012), and We Are the Same (2022) each reflect different seasons of my life, while Twilight Mist (2024) takes the journey inward. Written, performed, and produced entirely from my forest sanctuary, the 13-song album moves through the chakras, weaving together ethereal folk-pop, piano, orchestral textures, world rhythms, and soaring vocals. It is music about hope, rebirth, love, and renewal and an invitation to explore the spaces between what we know and what we can feel.

In 2026, I released Twilight Mist: Instrumental Edition, allowing the music to breathe in a new way. Without lyrics, the melodies become an open landscape—music for yoga, meditation, healing, creativity, reflection, or simply a quiet moment with yourself.
