Thank you @Sarantos for this podcast which explored songwriting, influences, process and so much more. I enjoyed all the Canadian references too :) When you take a step back I am grateful to have a classical music education. It never leads one astray. Learning the great Classical composers is a life of learning. Learning to write your own songs brings a freedom to take what you’ve learned and transform it through your own life story and lense. Of course songwriting is also a craft that requires skill and lots of practice too.
